What is Cultural Intelligence?

Cultural intelligence, also known as cultural quotient (CQ), refers to an individual's ability to understand, appreciate, and effectively interact with people from different cultures. It encompasses four key dimensions: cognitive, physical, emotional, and behavioural. Cultural intelligence involves a deep understanding of cultural norms, values, beliefs, and customs, as well as an awareness of one's own cultural biases and the ability to adapt behaviour to suit different cultural contexts. This can be particularly important in today's globalized world, where individuals and organizations increasingly work and interact across borders and cultures.
